CUNA Adds TPA Relationship Manager

    

MADISON, WI, February 7, 2017 -- Just more than a month after hiring Bill Riccio as director of TPA Relationship Management, Wisconsin-based record keeper CUNA Mutual Retirement Solutions has made another big hire in the third-party administrator market.

Stacey Scott, an 18-year financial services industry veteran, joined CUNA Mutual Retirements Solutions, Jan. 1, as TPA relationship manager. She will be responsible for growing TPA relationships in the Eastern Division and report to Chris Phillips, director of institutional sales.

Most recently, Scott served as TPA regional vice president with Voya Financial. In her 18 years with Voya, she also held roles as RVP of client relations, client relationship manager and marketing consultant/internal wholesaler.

Although CUNA Mutual Retirement Solutions has been preparing internally for a 2017 launch of its TPA channel, Scott represents the second external hire in as many months. "Presence in the TPA channel is a critical component for the long-term strategy for our Retirement Services business, and this position will play a key role in executing that strategy," Phillips said. "We are very excited to be able to expand our footprint in the TPA marketplace with a great addition like Stacey."

Phillips said Scott's experience and strong relationships will be well received in the TPA marketplace and a great resource for the company's field sales team as it moves into that channel.
