PSCA 60th Annual Survey Open


CHICAGO, IL, June 27, 2017 -- The Plan Sponsor Council of America announced that its 60th Annual Survey of Profit Sharing and 401k Plans is open and encouraged plan sponsors to participate. Achieving high levels of participation is critical to the success of the survey and will ensure that it can provide accurate and complete results to better inform Washington policymakers, the media, and other stakeholders with the aim of safeguarding policies and practices that are advantageous to American workers.

Beyond being part of the premier study of defined contribution retirement plans, participants will receive a complimentary copy of the survey upon its release. The deadline for completing the survey is June 30th.

PSCA's annual survey is considered the leading source of plan benchmarking data and provides more than 180 tables of data on topics including:

  • Asset-investment trends and fund offerings
  • Automatic enrollment and auto increase default rates
  • Company contributions and matching formulas
  • Investment advice
  • Participation and deferral rates
  • Roth 401k
  • Participant education
  • Plan administration practices

How to take part in the survey:

  • Participate online (https://www.cvent.com/surveys/Welcome.aspx?s=a6d72bbb-c18d-4281-9627-42a7819a1f37): The online survey is available to both new and returning survey takers. Those who completed the survey in 2016 will find that their plan information has been imported into the online survey. Simply review plan information, update it with changes, and submit.
  • Mail or fax: Download the questionnaire and return via fax (312.275.7171) or mail to 200 S. Wacker Drive, Suite 3100, Chicago, IL 22602

Respondents can download a worksheet with a list of questions they may need to look up. Submissions must be postmarked or completed online by June 30, 2017.

All information provided in the survey will remain confidential; only aggregate data will be published. All survey respondents will receive a free copy of the 60th Annual Survey Report, which otherwise would cost $595. More information is available at https://www.psca.org/research.
