TIAA Joins the Retirement Advisor Council
EAST GRANBY, CT, February 22, 2017 -- We are pleased to announce TIAA has reinforced and broadened its longstanding membership with the Retirement Advisor Council to become an Enterprise member.
TIAA was among the founding sponsors of the Retirement Advisor Council as an investment manager. Now that TIAA is joining the Service Provider college as well, TIAA is becoming one of only four Enterprise members of the Council, with representation in both the Service Provider and Investment Manager colleges. The company will be represented by Tom Grogan, Vice President of Institutional Marketing.
"We are thrilled to deepen our involvement with the Council and continue to collaborate with our peers across the retirement plan industry," said Grogan. "Working together with the Council and its members to help expand retirement plan accessibility for American workers and continually explore new ways to improve retirement readiness aligns very well with TIAA's mission."
TIAA was founded nearly a century ago as the vision of one of history's great philanthropists, Andrew Carnegie, to make a difference in the lives of teachers. Since then, the company has helped millions at academic, medical, research and cultural organizations -- the people whose work makes the world a better place -- retire with financial security.
