Alliance Benefit Group Lauded For 401k Plan Services
PEORIA, IL, December 9, 2003 -- The professionals at Alliance Benefit Group, a leading provider of 401k plans and services in Peoria, IL, know their commitment to customer service and participant education was a standard for other providers to follow. A recent study by Plan Sponsor Magazine, a foremost authority on the 401k industry has confirmed this fact.
Plan Sponsor recently released the results from their 2003 Plan Sponsor Defined Contribution (DC) Survey in their November 2003 issue, which has awarded a "Best In Class" rating to Alliance Benefit Group for their work in two significant areas of retirement plan administration: Clarity of Statements and Timeliness of Reporting. The study was sent to 17,000 individuals who are directly responsible for their company's DC retirement plan. For a plan provider to be included in the survey results, a minimum of 30 responses had to be received by the magazine. The study broke down all plan providers into four sponsor categories: Micro Market (less than $5 million in DC plan assets), Small Market ($5 million to $49 million in DC plan assets), Mid-Market ($50 million to $199 million in DC plan assets), and Large Market (greater than $200 million in plan assets).
Alliance Benefit Group was acknowledged for their work within the Micro Market segmentation for Clarity of Statements and Timeliness of Reporting – both major components of effective customer service for plan participants. The surveys received by Plan Sponsor indicated great satisfaction with Alliance Benefit Group regarding their service to participants. One respondent said, "Alliance Benefit Group is very responsive to questions asked along the way. Very proactive in education and news that affects employee accounts." Another respondent indicated that Alliance Benefit Group is "always friendly and available with prompt reports – accurate information, both verbal and Internet."
"I am proud of this recognition. It provides us with the confidence moving forward that we are doing the right thing for our clients and their participants," said John Blossom, president of Alliance Benefit Group. "We strive to develop the 'perfect plan.' A plan is not perfect without the necessary services to make participants feel comfortable with their decision to participate in the first place."
