GoldK Ends Its Relationship with Security Trust Company

Cites Recent Allegations of Trading Violations as the Reason for Termination

WALTHAM, MA, September 8, 2003 -- GoldK(R), a leading business processing outsourcer of defined contribution employer-sponsored retirement plans, has notified Security Trust Company that it is terminating its agreement with the trustee/custodian firm. GoldK's action comes after Security Trust Company was implicated on September 3, 2003 by the New York State Attorney General as part of a market timing and late-day trading scheme involving Canary Capital Partners.

GoldK works with a number of trustees and custodians in order to serve the needs of its retirement plan customers. These firms have agreed to work diligently with GoldK to transition its clients from Security Trust Company to their custody. GoldK initiated this action to protect the interests of its clients and their retirement plan participants.
