Marie Augsberger Joins MassMutual as COO for Retirement Services Division
SPRINGFIELD, MA, November 7, 2006 -- MassMutual Retirement Services division has appointed Marie M. Augsberger its chief operating officer, a newly-created role that combines responsibility for all recordkeeping, plan administration and service operations including relationship management and call centers. Augsberger also assumes oversight of MassMutual's project management operation and allocation of related information systems resources.

Augsberger joins MassMutual from ING, where she most recently served as head of customer service and operations for ING U.S. Retirement Services. Prior to ING, she held various senior leadership roles at Aetna. She is Six Sigma certified and holds NASD Series 7, 24, 63 and 65 registrations.
