BISYS Retirement Services Now Called Ascensus

DRESHER, PA, October 29, 2007 -- BISYS Retirement Services, the nation's largest independent administrator and service provider for small- and mid-sized retirement plans, announced today that it changed its company name to Ascensus^SM. This news follows the August 2007 announcement that BISYS Retirement Services was acquired by private equity firm J.C. Flowers & Co. LLC and would operate as a division of Crump Group, Inc. The goal of the name change is to establish a clear brand that emphasizes the company's extensive industry experience as well as its forward-looking business strategy which continues to evolve the company beyond its core administrative solutions.

"Ascensus" is a Latin word in origin, meaning "a moving upward." The root of the name speaks directly to the company's philosophy of always striving to reach the highest level, with a particular focus on delivering the best solutions to its clients in helping them reach their goals.
