CFDD Launches New Website for Retirement Advisors
CHICAGO, IL, January 14, 2008 -- The Center for Due Diligence, an independent information and strategic services firm, has just launched their new website. The website is in the first phase of build out and according to Phil Chiricotti, President, "The website will be the richest web-based resource available to retirement advisors."
Consistent with the CFDD's conference theme, the new website was designed to help advisors adapt to changing conditions, increase professionalism, evaluate business models, grow, manage for efficiency, institutionalize their practice, reduce liability and plan for succession.
The primary areas of the website include: Insights, Monitor, Links, Industry Conferences, Training, Resources, Ask an Expert, Research & Trends, Target Date Funds, Retirement Income, Jobs/Recruiting and Buy/Sell Practices. The CFDD's Advisor Conference will also have a dedicated home page.
The Monitor area will feature Legislation, Litigation, Regulatory action and Enforcement. AIM's Kathryn Capage will provide the Legislative Update and Marcia Wagner, the Wagner Law Group, will provide the Litigation Update.
The CFDD will provide proprietary research on the next generation of Retirement Income products and services. The Ask an Expert area will feature Q&A areas on: Annuities, Compliance, ERISA, Liability Insurance, Plan Design, Retirement Income, Rollovers & Distributions, Target Date Funds and Technology.
Widely recognized industry experts will populate the Ask an Expert area, including: John Hancock, ComplianceWorks, Inc., The Wagner Law Group, NAPLIA, The Standard, Prudential, Target Date Analytics and others.
The Resources area will provide valuable tools and resources on: Benchmarks, Business Models, Designations, Ethics, Marketing, Products & Services, Sales, Staffing, Succession Planning and Systems/Software.
The Links and industry Conferences areas include the most comprehensive list of pertinent industry links and conferences, including an area for conference hosts to advertise their conference. Technology and staffing are the major challenges facing successful advisors today. The CFDD has helped many advisors find quality staff and the Jobs/Recruiting & Technology areas have been well received by the network.
The website is in the first phase of build out. The features and functionality will be deployed in stages. The site is currently available without cost or logon requirements. After completion, the enhanced resource areas will only be available to subscribers and conference attendees. Individuals who attend the CFDD's annual Advisor Conference will have access to the site without additional cost.
The CFDD's October 13-15, 2008 Advisor Conference, "An Industry In Transition: Old Model Is Mature, New One Is An Infant," will be held at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona. In addition to a content rich, bottom up and advisor-centric agenda, the conference offers a FUN networking forum. The 2008 Advisor Conference Kick-Off/Charity Golf Awards Party will feature a biker theme.
