MassMutual Retirement Services Appoints New TPA Channel Managers

    
SPRINGFIELD, MA, November 20, 2008 -- MassMutual's Retirement Services Division has added two new positions to its support organization for third-party administrators (TPAs).

Robert Shull was named to the new post of TPA channel manager for the Western region. He supports MassMutual's sales representatives and third-party administrators in Alaska, Ariz., Calif., Colo., Hawaii, Idaho, La., Nev., N.M., Okla., Ore., Texas, Utah, Wash., and Wyo. He has been with MassMutual since January 2007 and most recently served as managing director for Alaska, northern California and northern Nevada. He assumed his new role in July. Tiffany Hanks has been appointed to the new role of TPA channel manager for the Eastern region effective November 3. Ms. Hanks supports MassMutual's sales representatives and third-party administrators in all other states. She most recently served as the TPA regional manager for ING, Hartford, Conn. Both TPA channel managers will provide ongoing product and service education to assist TPAs in the growth of their retirement services practices. They will meet regularly with the TPAs in their respective territories and coordinate regional seminars and events on behalf of MassMutual. They will also represent MassMutual Retirement Services at conference events. Both TPA channel managers will have access to the resources of a dedicated TPA support team based in Springfield, Mass.
