Paychex Partner Program With AICPA Reaches Milestone
ROCHESTER, NY, June 2, 2008 -- The Paychex Partner Program from AICPA Business Solutions has reached a new milestone. More than 20,000 CPA firms nationwide are now enrolled in the program. The program benefits CPAs with value-added services for their clients, including attractive price incentives on payroll processing and 401k plan setup fees and a satisfaction guarantee. The high participation rate of CPAs in the program illustrates the CPA community's confidence in Paychex as a solutions provider and the value offered to program participants.
The partner program began in late 2003 when Paychex was selected from among its competitors as the preferred provider of payroll services by CPA2Biz, the marketing and technology subsidiary of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). The program expanded in 2005 to include Paychex 401k Recordkeeping services. In 2006, CPA2Biz also designated Paychex the preferred provider of retirement plan services for CPAs' clients.
"When we launched the program our shared vision was to strengthen CPA client relationships by offering tangible benefits exclusively through CPAs," stated Erik Asgeirsson, president and CEO at CPA2Biz, Inc. "Almost five years later and, in terms of participation, the program now ranks second only to the AICPA's long-standing and highly successful member insurance benefit," noted Asgeirsson.
In addition to value-added services for clients, the Paychex Partner Program also offers CPAs free online access to their clients' Paychex Online Reports and General Ledger Reporting Services, with their clients' permission.
"The ability to get client payroll and general ledger reports online helps our firm be more efficient," said Glenn Harper of Warner & Harper Certified Public Accountants in Cleveland, Ohio. "I would recommend the Paychex Partner Program to other CPAs so they can take advantage of all the benefits Paychex brings to the table."
"The high participation of CPA firms in the Paychex Partner Program speaks volumes of the value of this program to the CPA community," said Walter Turek, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Paychex. "Paychex is proud to be their partner, along with CPA2Biz and the AICPA, in enhancing the CPA's role as their clients' most trusted advisor."
