MassMutual Achieves Highest Q2 and YTD 401k Sales Increases
SPRINGFIELD, MA, September 1, 2009 -- According to a leading industry survey*, MassMutual's Retirement Services Division achieved the highest second quarter 2009 sales based on assets among 16 participating retirement plan providers. The results encompass full service and third-party administrator service models and plans with 10,000 participants or less.
MassMutual experienced a 172% increase in 401k sales vs. the second quarter of 2008, capturing the highest share of the total sales based on assets among participating providers. MassMutual also achieved a 51% sales increase YTD vs. the same period last year.
