McHenry Partners Add Staff in California
LAFAYETTE, CA, September 24, 2009 -- McHenry Partners, LLC has announced that Alamo resident Geoff Eukel, has joined the firm as Research Director. Eukel will lead research and educational efforts supporting the investment needs of not-for-profit organizations and corporate employers.
Based in Lafayette, California, Eukel has a special interest in health, human services and retirement issues. A retired employee of Contra Costa County with over thirty years of service, he has been involved in retirement plan issues from both sides of the table. "During the next phase of my career, I want to make a difference in the financial lives of people that live and work in my community," he said.
As a former board member of the Warren W. Eukel Teacher Trust named in honor of his late father (www.eukelteachertrust.org), Geoff also has a personal appreciation of the financial management and investment challenges faced by community service organizations. "Small and mid-market institutional investors often don't reach their investment objectives due to issues related to risk, expense and operational expenses," he stated. Given the challenging economic environment, secure retirement outcomes for workers is also a priority for him. "Many employee retirement plans don't deliver full value to their participants," he stated.
