Transamerica Retirement Appoints Southern Regional Vice President
LOS ANGELES, CA, June 9, 2010 -- Transamerica Retirement Services has announced the hiring of Chad Brown as regional vice president in the company’s southern region to oversee all sales and distribution activities in western and central Texas. He will be based in Austin, Texas, and will report to Steven Dunlap, Transamerica’s divisional vice president for the Southern Region.

Mr. Brown joins Transamerica from Nationwide Financial Services, Inc., where he served for the past five years as regional vice president of sales. He was responsible for both the sales of retirement plans through all distribution partners, as well as consulting on plan design and implementation. Mr. Brown received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Nevada. He is a Certified Retirement Services Professional and PLANSPONSOR Retirement Professional, and holds FINRA series 6 and 63, and Texas Life and Health Insurance licenses.
