NIPA Expands TPA Business Owner Resources

CHICAGO, IL, February 15, 2012 -- The National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA) is expanding its TPA Business Owner Resources to include the 401k Sales Champion Workshop©, an exclusive online, 401k sales and service training program that will allow TPA firms to grow referrals and improve client services by providing financial advisers with valuable professional development.

As a result, NIPA members can obtain a license that provides exclusive or select geographic territory, allowing for unlimited access to the workshop for financial advisers during the license period. The workshop is offered in partnership with Chris Barlow, Managing Director of KnowHow401k and Ron Bush, Principal, Retirement Research, Inc.

“We have a limited number of license territories available and NIPA is the ideal organization for us to reach the premier TPA in each territory. By partnering exclusively with a local NIPA TPA firm, financial advisers also gain access to a tremendous resource for retirement plan technical expertise and quickly become sales champions ahead of the competition,” said Chris Barlow, Managing Director of KnowHow401k.

“The 401k Sales Champion Workshop© is a unique, cost-effective and memorable way for NIPA members to strengthen their relationships with their financial advisers partners and ultimately improve their company’s bottom line,” said Laura J. Rudzinski, Executive Director, NIPA. “We are pleased to offer this additional resource for our growing membership community.”

The 401k Sales Champion Workshop© is composed of 14 video segments that describe a 7-step process for financial advisers to follow to optimize their 401k sales opportunity. Additionally, the workshop provides access to a variety of E-Tools to aid financial advisers in improving their 401k sales and service efforts.
