Pentegra Introduces New Communications Tool
WHITE PLAINS, NY, July 9, 2012 -- Today Pentegra Retirement Services introduced a new tool that will help plan sponsors communicate the benefits of their retirement programs to their participants, and encourage employee awareness. Called "The Building Blocks for Retirement," the new "library" of information will be located at Pentegra.com and will also include enewsletters that will directly correlate with key calendar dates in the industry and make it easier for plan sponsors to communicate with participants.
According to Rich Rausser, Pentegra Senior Vice President of Client Services, "We believe that it is essential to continually communicate with our participants and reinforce the importance of saving for retirement. That is why we created this new tool to promote retirement savings education and provide as much support, and as many tools as possible for our team."
Pentegra's education and communication efforts have resulted in plan participation rates of 90 to 100%, which are well above the industry average. The new web-based tool offers participants retirement planning vehicles and informative content that is designed to remind them of the importance of saving and investing for retirement. "We are always looking for ways to help sponsors reach participants," continued Rausser.
Among the topics that will be offered: asset allocation, diversification, retirement planning essentials, investment strategy, risk tolerance, revisiting your portfolio, and distribution planning.
