Rosenbaum Law Rolls Out ERISA Legal Solution

While there is a proliferation of financial advisors offering fiduciary services, plan sponsors still let many of the legal aspect of plan operation wide open to liability exposure. To fill this gap, the Rosenbaum Law Firm has introduced a new service called LegalEase.

"Retirement plan are legal entities using legal documents causing legal consequences, so this is legal help at a price that is affordable," said ERISA attorney Ary Rosenbaum.

LegalEase will provide the plan sponsor with a legal review of their plan from top to bottom including a review of plan documents, a review of administration, a review of the fiduciary process, and a review of plan fees. It is designed to offer help in protecting plan sponsors from the three biggest liability exposures: continued plan qualification under Section 401(a) of the Internal revenue Code, Section 404(c) of ERISA for participant directed plans, and plan fee concerns under the regulations of Section 408(b)(2) and Section 404(a)(5) of ERISA.

According to Rosenbaum, "The service is needed because employers are overwhelmed with the growing complexity of being a plan sponsor (thanks to fee disclosure and plan litigation), so they need an independent legal advisor without breaking the bank."
