PSCA's 2017 Signature Awards Nominations Open

CHICAGO, IL, November 1, 2016 -- The Plan Sponsor Council of America has opened nominations for its 2017 Signature Awards.

PSCA's Signature Awards recognize excellence in retirement plan communications and education to both plan sponsors and plan participants. Winning a Signature Award signals to the retirement community that a company values its retirement plan and its employees by working to make the plan a best-in-class benefit for participants. As an award winner, a company acts as a case study in what works to engage employees in taking control of their finances.

This year there are twelve categories, including some new and some redesigned categories. Among the new categories is Overcoming Obstacles, which would show how plan sponsors dealt with challenges in reaching their participants when communicating retirement plan issues, or in changing behaviors.

"The Signature Award competition recognizes companies that help participants achieve their life goals and attain financial well-being, important goals for every American," said Tony Verheyen, PSCA's executive director. "We look forward to receiving this year's nominations and recognizing those efforts."

The deadline to submit nominations is February 10, 2017 with an entry cost of $150 for a PSCA member company and $250 for a non-member company. Judging will take place in late February.

PSCA uses an online awards platform only; submissions by mail will not be accepted. More information may be found at: https://www.psca.org/2017-signature-awards.

Signature Award winners will be announced on the eve of PSCA's 70th Annual National Conference, set for May 2-3, 2017 at The Drake Hotel in Chicago, during a ceremony and reception May 1. Here is a link to winners of the 2016 Signature Awards.
