Arnerich Massena & Associates Selected by CUNA Mutual Group to Provide Investment Newsletter Services

The newsletter will reach more than 110,000 retirement plan participants nationwide.

July 8, 2002 - Arnerich Massena & Associates, a Portland, Oregon-based investment consulting and education firm, announced that it has been selected by CUNA Mutual Group of Madison, Wisconsin to provide quarterly investment newsletter services for the company’s staff and employees of CUNA Mutual’s credit union customers. The award-winning newsletter, which supplies market news and commentary, as well as investment information to aid in personal retirement planning, will be made available on-line to more than 110,000 retirement and group health plan participants.

Heide Keith, CUNA Mutual’s Marketing Communications Manager for Pensions, said that the deal reflects their commitment to offering more ongoing communication and information to plan participants. “Employee communication is important to us. We have a great employee benefits kit, but we’ve wanted to ramp up on what comes after those initial materials.”

She noted that Arnerich Massena’s newsletter, Reach For Your DreamTM, was a good match for their needs. “This was the first time we went outside for this type of resource, so we looked at a lot of firms that specialize in communications. We liked the newsletter because it’s inviting and easy to read, and we can make it directly accessible to employees on our Website. We also felt that the staff at Arnerich Massena was very helpful and would provide good service going forward.” Keith added that a print version of one issue has already been distributed to the company’s plan participants. “We’ve had a very positive response to the newsletter,” she said.
